I have two cats, Vader and Leia….and yes I know those names make me a wicked nerd! Recently I noticed that Vader, the older of the two, was having some hearing issues, neither of these cats travel well so I called Dr. Jennifer A. Stewart Dvm (actually I Facebook’d her) to setup a house call appointment. I love that she offers this!Bridget A.,
The team showed up and the experience was great! First it’s like a sneak attack, the cats had no idea so no drama before the vet appointment. Three people showed up (usually it’s Dr. Jennifer A. Stewart Dvm & Lisa Eckert-Mette vet assistant – today we had a training assistant) and they are really a mobile vet, drew blood & fluids, weighed and vaccinated. They did everything you would do at a check up visit at the vet at my house…..too cool!
Sooooo much nicer then trying to get them into the car and to the vet. No pre or post drama. Pets don’t smell like the vet and you can get them calmed quickly because they feel secure at home. They took fabulous care of my cats, turns out that the issues I thought I had were not the real issues. She is thorough, gentle, very knowledgeable, and affordable!
Gotta luv a vet that ONLY makes House Calls! Just got 2 adorable kittens, Bam Bam and Pebbles, and they love Dr. Jennifer and her staff member Lisa. They don’t even realize they are getting examined! Not a peep out of them, even when the got their shots!!!Caryn L.,
Talk about making my life easier… no trying to corral them into a carrier or into the car… she comes to their turf… their house and they love it and so do I!!!
Dr. Stewart is great! Caring, compassionate, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She has the touch! She performed an at home euthanasia for my kitty. I was able to get her to come out the same day. They asked what time was convenient for me and were really great about making me feel at ease about the whole thing.Julie F.,
As soon as she greeted my kitty, he purrrred up a storm and it was amazing to see how he instantly like her. The passing was peaceful (in my arms, at home) and I couldn’t have asked for better way to say goodbye to beloved kitty. Dr. Stewart is one of the BEST! I would definitely recommend her services.
Dakota, our 3rd Husky rescue, was old when we adopted her. She limped and struggled to get up and down. She couldn’t run or play with our other two huskies and we just wanted to give her a good home for the short remainder of her life. To avoid the trauma of a trip to the vet (required lifting her up into the van), we contacted Ranch House Veterinary Services for a home visit. Dr. Stewart and her team were amazing. They came equipped to do the entire exam, weight checks, blood draws, and treatments as needed. I’m a doctor (MD) and was surprised and skeptical when Dr. Stewart said she could do acupuncture and laser therapy on Dakota for her hips and back.Deb G.,
The results were astonishing! In 3 months time she went from struggling to get up… to hopping around like a puppy. She now gets caught running in the house and jumping up to survey the kitchen counter (which she could never do before). She now jumps into the van without any difficulty and joins our other two dogs on walks.. Dakota also had vision and liver problems which Dr. Stewart diagnosed and treated. “Thank-you Dr. Stewart and Lisa” for adding an enormous quality of life to our sweet dog. With your continued help we now hope to spend many more years with her.
If you value outstanding veterinary care, home visit convenience, and unsurpassed service (they even personally deliver the meds), then your pets deserve Ranch House Veterinary Services. Tell Dr. Stewart that “Dakota, Simple Dog, and Helper Dog” sent you.
